We are Representing 40 Men Who Claim They Were Sexually Abused
Dozens of African American men who attended the University of Michigan are bravely sharing their troubling story: Each of these men claim they were sexually abused by the former U-M doctor while attending college. Most of these victims are former student athletes who came from vulnerable communities and relied on their scholarships to remain at school. Therefore, had these men refused medical examinations and/or violated any rules while at school, their scholarships could have been revoked.
These men felt pressure to remain silent while they were sexually abused in order to protect their educational and athletic futures. Their decision to now break the silence could put an alleged criminal behind bars.
The accused former doctor, Robert Anderson, otherwise known as “Doctor A,” “Doctor Feel-Good,” and “Doctor Glove,” passed away in 2008. Although he didn’t live to see the effects of his criminal actions, our campus sexual abuse lawyers are determined to fight for the 40 victims who were molested as students.
