Michigan List of Priests Accused of Sexual Misconduct or Sexual Abuse of Minors

In Michigan, 11 priests have been charged after a two-year investigation into sexual abuse allegations in the state’s Catholic churches. This investigation has uncovered 454 accused priests and 811 victims thus far. Given that the vast majority of sexual assaults are never brought to light, there may be hundreds more.

This list was constructed using data from the Database of Publicly Accused Priests; it in no way implies that those named here are guilty of any wrongdoing or have any legal liability. The database contains “credible accusations,” listed convictions, and civil settlements, not proven facts. I Do Not See an Abuser’s Name on Michigan’s List of Accused Priests. What Should I Do?

Several factors could prevent the name of your abuser from appearing on our list of priests who have been accused of sexual misconduct in Michigan.
