- Michael Pegram: YMCA counselor convicted of child sex abuse
- B.T. Adams: one year in jail, 12 years probation for molesting
- Michael Begin: sentenced to 120 years in prison for child molestation
- Kassidy Keuper: former YMCA employee pleads guilty to child sexual abuse
The above list is, in no way, exhaustive, and many more abusers have allegations and convictions of sexual abuse. One of these offenders is Christian Galindo, who was also sentenced to prison for sex abuse. He was able to obtain a position with the YMCA as a counselor after being terminated from a Head Start program for inappropriate touching.

Over the years, there have been many settlements for those who YMCA employees and affiliates prey upon. Among some of those is one survivor who received a 65 million dollar settlement in 2022 based on a recent news article.
